I can also teach all skill levels in music technology, production and recording; and beginner -intermediate level in bass guitar, mandolin, singing, piano/keyboard, harmonica, drums, percussion and celtic harp.
I usually travel to student's places of living to teach, for comfort and convenience.

Beginners… $60 per lesson
Advanced… $80 per lesson

Educational & Teaching Background
I was trained to teach music in 2010-11 by David Cross (violinist of King Crimson) at London Metropolitan University, achieving a distinction in his Music Enhancement Course (MUSEC). My other educational qualifications include a Masters degree (MSc) and a 2.1 BSc degree from the University of Reading, a Higher National Diploma in Music Production at Reading College of Arts and Design and a distinction in Music Business at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA). I have achieved Grade V Music Theory and Grade VI Piano with ABRSM as well as Grade IV Classical Guitar when I was about fourteen years old (all those years ago) and am now advanced, specialising in acoustic fingerpicking and percussive guitar techniques.
I am CRB checked to work with children and have a Police Clearance Certificate (APRO).
I have extensive experience in schools, colleges, universities and other areas of music education in the UK, including facilitating music sessions in mainstream and special educational UK schools, colleges and after school centres, as well as giving private guitar tuition.
I also have a clean driving license and access to a car, and usually drive to meet students for lessons.
I can't stress enough the importance of good, focused, deliberate practicing and self-reflection. I practice guitar for over four hours daily, and the rest of my time I commit to composition, recording, writing poetry and lyrics, rehearsals, reading about music, listening to music, organising and performing at events, liaising with music industry professionals, as well as learning and giving tuition.
